This dedicated walk-in clinic runs every Wednesday from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, ensuring patients with urgent or semi-urgent referrals are seen quickly.
How it Works
Who is it for?
Patients referred by their family doctor or nurse practitioner who have:

Lesions suspicious for skin cancer

Spots that are changing in size, shape, or color

Non-healing sores or ulcers

Growths that bleed, crust, or do not resolve
What to Expect

Assessment: Dr. Bastien will examine the suspicious lesion and determine if a biopsy is necessary.

Biopsy: If indicated, a small tissue sample will be taken under local anesthesia.

Pathology Review: The sample is sent to a pathology lab for analysis.

Follow-Up: Results are communicated clearly, with next steps outlined for treatment or reassurance.
Do I Need an Appointment?
No appointment is required. As long as you have a referral from your family doctor or nurse practitioner, you can attend the Rapid Access Biopsy Clinic on Wednesdays between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis.
